Take tough shots

and make new friends.

Hoop Kidz was formed in 2018 by a group of individuals who recognized the need for accessible basketball programs in Jamaica that provided high quality coaching at a very young age. We have created a basketball camp that emphasizes more than anything else, the FUN in fundamental basketball. Becoming a good basketball player is hard work, but we believe the game should always be enjoyable for our kids. Thats why our coaches are taught to be patient and creative while teaching the basics of dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, footwork and positioning. Hoop Kidz campers learn skills and techniques through simple, fun games and activities but also develop good sportsmanship, work ethic and team building qualities. We also teach the importance of good nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices from an early age. Hoop Kidz uses age-appropriate sized basketballs and basketball hoops, ensuring that the little tykes have more fun and are less frustrated as they learn. We want your child to leave camp loving basketball and wanting to play and learn even more. At Hoop Kidz, our mission is to impact the lives of our youth through the power of sport, regardless of any barriers that may be in their way... and have FUN while doing it.
